You can believe what you like, Mutt’s side that the couple just grew apart, or the close friends who reported that Mutt was cheating on his loving wife with another woman. The interesting fact is that as soon as the story was released that long time friend Marie-Anne Thiebaud had stolen Shania’s husband, she was nowhere to be found. For me that’s a sure sign of guilt. In the entertainment business a marriage is a shaky thing at best with all the pressure, but Shania really seemed to work hard at devoting more time to family, than career and really didn’t deserve this at all. A shocker was announced near the end of last week when Shania and Mutt announced they were getting a divorce. A lot of fans were shocked and saddened by the news but others rejoiced Shania’s newly single status. Some felt Mutt had a unnatural influence on her turning her into a vegetarian shortly after they were together and then having her follow his strange religious ways. Some felt she was being brainwashed by him and was being manipulated losing her freedom and her choices to do what she wanted. Personally I think Shania will be much better off and can now let loose. There has been a lot of speculation for the split like Shania cheating on Mutt, or Mutt wanting to spend more time producing other female artists so we’ll have to see what the real reason is. Shania recently hit Toronto to market her new fragrance, Starlight. After being out of the spotlight for awhile I thought it interesting that Shania had a new perfume to promote instead of a new album, but maybe she’s loving her new perfume venture more these days. She appeared at a local radio station (104.5 CHUM-FM) that was having a contest where the winners would get to meet Shania. Not only did the winners not get to met Shania, they weren’t allowed to take pictures or have her autograph. If it’s true, Shania (and her people) will need to work on her public relations skills a little more. Others were wondering if Shania had a facelift or something else done. Personally I think she looks pretty good and those tits still look fabulous. My biggest complaint… Shania needed to undo one more button on this blouse she wore.
